Overview
People are tortured and made to suffer on account of their religion, belief or ancestry; women are traded like commodities and children are raped and sodomised. The state compounds problems by tactily condoning discriminatory legislation.
In this environment LHRLA intervenes with the philosophy that all human beings are created equal and have certain inherent rights, violations of which cannot be justified in any context. LHRLA is a non-partisan, non-profitable and non-government organization. It consists of a dedicated group of lawyers, professionals and activists, headed by Mr. Zia Ahmed Awan, and assisted by Edhi Trust.
